Once you've been matched with a cleaner, we recommend that you reach out to them via the messaging function through your account. This will give you a chance to introduce yourself and also let them know if you'll be in to meet them and if not, how they can gain access to your property, e.g. if you'll leave the key in a hidden place or if the concierge will provide them with the key.

Make sure that you have all the necessary materials for your cleaner to use. This includes a vacuum cleaner, broom, mop and bucket, as well as cloths and sponges, sprays and creams. If you're unsure what exactly to buy, reach out to your cleaner to check with them first.

On the day of your booking, walk your cleaner through each room (that you require to be cleaned) highlighting any areas that you would like them to prioritise.

As your booking draws to an end, check that you are happy with the clean and point out anything you think your cleaner could improve on again at your next booking - feedback is always helpful to ensure that your cleaner is delivering a service that you are content with.

The cleaner will action the payment shortly after the booking has been completed and your card will be charged. You'll also then be able to leave your cleaner a review via your Helpling account.
